31ST JANUARY – 5TH FEBRUARY 2023

PV Thursday 2nd February 2023 6:00 - 9:00 pm

Time moves in one direction, constantly ticking onwards. Memories are different, the times and dates are not always important or relevant. Memories are fragments of time worth saving and savouring. This does not mean, however, we will all remember them the same way.

I have included two pieces for this show one (above) is called – The Heart of the City, which is a painting/photo montage, a limited edition of 250 signed digital framed canvas 16” x 12” portrait - £245.00

The picture is of Guys Hospital – once South London’s tallest building, now overshadowed by the Shard, which I call the Dalek – as it is all seeing and hearing.

Second piece (left) - Weeds

We are all weeds - in the end.

It would be wonderful to see you at both or one of these shows!

If you have not yet been to The Bookery Gallerie, then you might enjoy going to see the show – Momentous Times - which has been extended until the 28 February 2023.

20 Church Street,London,NW8 8EP

I have my diptych ‘Don’t Take My Breath Away’ /above/ and my piece We Are All Royal on show.

I am looking for a hospital to display ‘Don’t Take My Breath Away’.

If you know of any hospital that may be interested, please get back in touch with suggestions. I’d love to hear from you.

SAVE THE DATE

I have a busy programme of events and exhibitions already in the planning for March, April and May.

Do save the 4th and 5th March for performance events in Essex

9th March for a SLWA group show I am organising in Brixton

16th March for my first solo show of the year and I have another solo show coming up later in spring. Details, and invitations, are coming your way soon. :)

If you are in need of gifts or new art works to enhance your home, please take a look at my website. All my paintings can be turned into prints, of which there are very different kinds depending on quality. Please DM me if you are interested in good quality Giclée prints and or high quality framed canvases.

I would like to say a big thank you to the people who brought, hired, commissioned and exhibited my work over the last year: from paintings, prints, books, cards, tea towels, aprons cushions!

Last, but not least, I wanted to share with you the fact that after about 20 years of owning my current washing machine, the door decided to fall off – just like that – sadly it can’t be fixed? What a !!!!

So if you run a company which could benefit from a workshop by an environmentally friendly artist, who sadly now has a washing machine to replace, then I’m your girl. Here’s a share of the to be washed clothes - how colourful they look!
