You can help the charity that I run
Cooltan is a charity and company limited by guarantee, which was founded in 1990 and acquired charitable status in 1997, number 1064231.
Cooltan Arts is a much needed resource and is currently under funded we exist on a jigsaw of funding and with the current climate of cut backs in the health service and the Arts we are feeling the pinch if you could find it in your heart to donate as much as five pounds on a gift aid form we would receive a further 28p from the government.
Every little helps £10 pays for a persons art materials in one session, £75 for two hours of teaching (we have 7 workshop leaders a week), £30 a week for refreshments, £20 an hour for a one to one with a member of staff, Then have overheads like everyone else, any contribution you can make would be put to good use, and you can come and visit us and see it in action.
Cooltan Arts is part of the South London cultural scene and as its history and legacy continued acted as a constant source of support for littoral Thousands of people, many of whom have started their business, theater groups, Tool Can in Manchester, exploding cinema, Camber well Carrot are just a few examples along with asc artist studios. Cooltan arts legacy still stands now in it's tenth year as a Charity with this November being our celebration we are asking you all to donate on a gift aid form at least £1 which we get the government to add to by 28p it will help us stay in business as the original D.I.Y project of creating what Local people for and with and by local people.
Our 17 years of existence where we have developed and changed becoming a Charity
